Old Dominion transfer quarterback Grant Wilson signs with Indiana Hoosiers
Old Dominion transfer quarterback Grant Wilson signed with the Indiana Hoosiers on Friday night, according to On3’s Pete Nakos. In the 2024 campaign, Wilson started three games at quarterback, completing 46 of 86 passes for 507 yards, while tossing in four touchdowns with three interceptions.
In 2023, Wilson played in 12 games, starting 11 at quarterback, completing 178 of 312 passes for 2,149 passing yards, while tossing in 17 touchdowns and eight touchdowns. He finished 10th in the Sun Belt in total offense per game (203.1 yards per game) and 179.1 passing yards per game. Wilson finished with 130 rush attempts for 289 rushing yards and four touchdowns. In 2022 at Fordham, he completed four of five passes for 41 yards and two touchdowns.
In high school, Wilson was a two-time District Offensive Player of the Year for Yorktown. He was also two-time first team All-Conference at quarterback. As a senior, he completed 179 of 264 passes for 2,632 passing yards, while tossing in 24 touchdowns.
The Indiana Hoosiers finished with an 11-2 overall record. They also finished with an 8-1 overall record in the Big Ten Conference. Indiana starting quarterback Kurtis Rourke is off to give it a shot in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Canadian native recently revealed that he’d played much of the 2024 season on a torn ACL. He managed to play through the injury and guide the Hoosiers to a College Football Playoff appearance and one of the best seasons in school history.

He received a bevy of Heisman votes, and while it didn’t end the way the Hoosiers wanted it to, with a loss to Notre Dame in the First Round of the CFP, it was still a landmark campaign for the program. Now, he’ll undergo surgery to fix any issues remaining with his knee.
The fact that Rourke spent the entire season with the injury and never used it as an excuse once, having his best season as a college football player against some of the best competition in the nation, is more than impressive. Without his play, Indiana’s incredible resurgence wouldn’t have been possible.
All told, Rourke passed for 3,042 yards, 29 touchdowns and five interceptions while adding two rushing touchdowns to his resume, as well. It was his first season in Bloomington after spending five with the Ohio Bobcats, and he proved he could get the job done in the Big Ten in 2024.
