Class of 2023 three-star point guard Brock Harding has committed to Iowa, he told On3.

The 6-foot-0, 155-pound prospect out of Moline (Ill.) Sr chose the Hawkeyes over Loyola-Chicago, Colorado State, Rice, Saint Louis, and others.

He becomes Iowa’s second commitment to the class, joining three-star big man Owen Freeman (No. 153).

Harding is ranked as the No. 163 overall prospect in the class of 2023, according to the On3 Consensus — a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 27 overall point guard in the country.

Brock Harding on his commitment to Iowa

“I chose Iowa because I felt that it was the best opportunity for me to maximize my potential as a player, but more importantly a place that was going to give me opportunities to impact winning,” Harding said to On3. “Their play style is a perfect fit for what I do as a player and the coaching staff truly believes in what I do and how that impacts the game. Iowa is where I will be able to grow as a player and as a person.”
