T.J. Hall

Fresno (Calif.) San Joaquin Memorial four-star safety T.J. Hall has committed to Iowa.

Iowa is the third school Hall has committed to this year. He was previously committed to Arizona for about three weeks in July before flipping to Washington on the last day of the month. Hall was committed to the Huskies until November 21.

The On3 Consensus – a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies – has Hall as the No. 396 overall player in the country.

On3 is much higher on Hall than others. The 2022 On300 ranks Hall as the No. 182 overall player and No. 16 safety in the country. He also the 12th-best player from the state of California.

On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power saw Hall at The Opening Finals over the summer and had high praise for the defensive back.

“No prospect did more to raise their recruiting stock at The Opening Finals. Playing beside a number of highly-touted defensive backs, Hall made play after play. The California native worked at safety and showed some impressive instincts. He broke on the ball and made a number of plays in coverage. Hall landed an offer from Colorado after the event and committed to Arizona days later.
