On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine: Iowa trending for 2024 safety Leroy Roker
Iowa is trending to land Fort Myers (Fla.) Bishop Verot three-star safety Leroy Roker, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.
An expert prediction was entered for the Hawkeyes to land Roker’s commitment by Iowa recruiting insider Tom Kakert. Iowa currently stands at a 99.9% chance to land Roker in the RPM.
Roker is the nation’s No. 1192 overall prospect and No. 114 safety in the 2024 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 162 player in Florida.
He does not currently have a publicly listed On3 NIL Valuation. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Iowa class ranks just outside top 25
The last couple of months have resulted in a bit of a dry spell on the recruiting trail for Iowa. The latest commit to add himself to the 20-man recruiting class was Plano (Texas) East three-star EDGE Chima Chineke in mid-July. The Hawkeyes rank No. 34 nationally in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 9 in the 18-team Big Ten.
Williamsburg (Iowa) four-star linebacker Derek Weisskopf headlines the class and is ranked No. 233 overall in the On3 Industry Ranking. He is joined by blue-chip prospects Winthrop (Iowa) East Buchanan four-star interior offensive lineman Cody Fox and Arlington Heights (Ill.) John Hersey four-star offensive tackle Will Nolan.
“I genuinely just love Iowa,” Nolan told HawkeyeReport.com in May when he committed. “I’ve always wanted to play for a prestigious offensive line team. The second the offer came in, I almost knew right away it’s where I’m headed.”
