Rocco Becht selects Frosted Cinnamon Roll to enter toaster after Pop Tarts Bowl win
Your bowl game’s favorite bowl game took place on Saturday night. Iowa State took down Miami in the Pop Tarts Bowl, one of the best games we have had thus far in the postseason. An offensive explosion in the first half turned into a nail biter down the stretch, as Rocco Becht‘s touchdown on a QB sneak was the difference.
The highlight of the entire event came during the postgame ceremony. Iowa State had the honor of deciding which Pop Tarts flavor got thrown into the toaster. Frosted Wild Berry, Frosted Hot Fudge Sundae, and Frosted Cinnamon Roll were the three options.
After Becht was named the game’s MVP, he decided on Frosted Cinnamon Roll. Something it will wear with a tremendous amount of pride, Frosted Cinnamon Roll held a sign saying “Follow Your Dreams” as he went down into the toaster.
A few moments later, he slid down, and was there for everyone to enjoy. Becht got the first bite, closely followed by Iowa State head coach Matt Campbell. Another great scene from the Pop Tarts Bowl.
You can check out the full moment here.
The choice appeared to be an easy one for Becht, having an immediate answer when asked by ESPN’s Cole Cubelic. Frosted Cinnamon Roll was always going to be heading down that toaster to celebrate Iowa State’s Pop Tarts Bowl win.

Another great event from Orlando, college football fans around the country had to love the entire spectacle.
Miami plays second half of Pop Tarts Bowl without Cam Ward
Cam Ward picked up right where he left off with the Miami offense in the Pop Tarts Bowl, scoring 31 points. But when the Hurricanes got the ball to start the second half, head coach Mario Cristobal decided to make a quarterback change. Ward is out as Emory Williams took over to finish the game vs. Iowa State.
As the ESPN broadcast said when the decision was made, nobody would have blamed Ward if he had decided to opt-out of the bowl game. The quarterback is likely going to be one of the top players selected in the 2025 NFL Draft, potentially in the top five. An extra game against Iowa State was not going to change the evaluation of Ward at this point of the process.
