4-star DL Juju Marks commits to in-state Kansas Jayhawks
Overland Park (Kan.) St. Thomas Aquinas four-star defensive lineman Juju Marks is staying home.
Marks announced his commitment to Kansas on social media Sunday afternoon. He decommitted from Missouri in the fall after one month with the Tigers.
Marks is the nation’s No. 377 overall prospect, No. 31 defensive lineman and No. 6 recruit from Kansas in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
“They have been rebuilding and Coach Liephold has done a great job,” Marks told On3 in April. “Then they are in my backyard, only 20 minutes away and I could build a legacy there.”

Marks also said that the school he chose would feel like home.
“I am looking for a place I can call home,” Marks said. “In addition to academics, will the school be a place where I am going to be taken care of and developed? NIL plays a role because that’s the world we live in now and ultimately, I want to be at a place where I can play.”
Marks is the fifth prospect to commit to Kansas’ 2025 recruiting class. He joins Edmond (Okla.) Memorial three-star quarterback David McComb, Phoenix Brophy College Preparatory three-star offensive lineman Anderson Kopp, Cypress (Texas) Christian three-star running back John Kelly and Waukee (Iowa) three-star linebacker Malachi Curvey.
