Kansas cornerback Cobee Bryant carted off field with air cast around his leg
Tough scene in Norman, Oklahoma on Saturday for Kansas football. With just seconds left on the clock before the end of the first half, Jayhawk defensive back Cobee Bryant was injured while stopping a Sooner touchdown.
Bryant hurt his leg badly and couldn’t get up after the play. The medical staff and cart was brought over to attend Bryant. He had to be lifted up and carried to the cart because he was unable to walk on his own. Reports are that an air cast was even put on his leg.
“Kansas player Cobee Bryant down for the Jayhawks. Trainers raced out with an air cast, according to @GabeIkard. Cart coming out,” said Oklahoma reporter Eric Bailey on Twitter.
Not good news for Kansas, especially given the lopsided first half they just suffered vs. the Sooners. And he’s not the only prominent Jayhawk dealing wit injuries.

Michigan, Penn State have halftime spat in tunnel before second half
A hotly contested first half between No. 4 Michigan and No. 10 Penn State turned into a tense moment in the halftime tunnel before going back onto the field for the second half.
While nothing physical happened, there is some obvious jawing painted with four-letter words and a middle finger or two thrown in the mix, too. It’s safe to say the second half will be a physical one.
The Wolverines lead the Nittany Lions 16-14 heading into the third quarter. A pick-six from Penn State’s Curtis Jacobs after a double-tipped pass from Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy‘s changed the entire first half for the Nittany Lions and kept them in the ball game.
