Fort Walton Beach (Fla.) Choctawatchee Academy three-star wide receiver Jayce Brown has committed to Kansas State, he announced Thursday on Twitter.

The 6-foot-1, 165-pounder chose the Wildcats over offers from Tulane, Georgia State, Middle Tennessee, Air Force, Army and more.

Brown is the No. 1048 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 159 wide receiver and the No. 155 senior recruit in the state of Florida.

He is the Wildcats’ 19th commitment in the 2023 cycle, joining a class headlined by four-star Maize (Kan.) quarterback Avery Johnson.

As a junior last fall, Brown aught 30 passes for 558 yards and eight touchdowns in 10 games. On defense, he totaled 7 tackles and a pick-six.
