Kansas offensive lineman Camden Beebe is keeping in the family.

Beebe, a 6-foot-2, 319-pound offensive lineman from Kansas City (Kan.) Piper has committed to Kansas State. He becomes the first commitment for the Wildcats in the Class of 2023. He will join his brother Cooper Beebe – a first-team All-Big 12 Conference selection this past season – in Manhattan.

Camden Beebe was also recruited by Cincinnati, Iowa State, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska. But most schools knew he it was almost a forgone conclusion that he was going to end up EMAW.

“Everybody said my time was coming,” Beebe said in a social media post. “I guess that time has come.”

Beebe was recruited by Kansas State assistants Taylor Braet and Conor Riley.

Camden Beebe is one of the top overall players in the Class of 2023 in Kansas. While he is yet to be ranked by On3, he is expected to be ranked in the three-star or higher range.

He was a priority recruit for the Wildcats, not just because he was a member of the family. He is an interior blocker that is known for his toughness and mean streak.

The Wildcats are pursuing other in-state targets like four-star quarterback Avery Johnson, three-star running back Dylan Edwards, and three-star offensive tackle Joe Otting. It’s expected that Beebe will immediately get to work recruiting the other players to be part of the K-State class.

It was also clear that the Wildcat coaches were fired up about his pledge. Both Riley and K-State offensive line graduate assistant coach Hayden Wall shared tweets hyping up the commitment Monday evening.
