People paying attention have known for quite some time that Wichita (Kan.) Collegiate do-it-all athlete Wesley Fair was on the verge of picking up major offers.

Wesley Fair had an excellent junior season that saw him rack up more than 1,104 yards of total offense and 12 touchdowns. The 6-foot-2, 180-pounder also averaged more than 220 yards a game for Collegiate.

Wesley Fair picked up an offer last week from Louisiana Tech, but a local school came through with an offer on Sunday.

Wesley Fair shared on social media that Kansas State had offered him a scholarship. The Wildcats have been well aware of Fair. He visited campus earlier this summer and then again in the fall for a game. Many believed it was just a matter of time before Fair landed the offer from K-State.

Now the wait is over.

Fair is also getting interest from Minnesota – he visited for a game in October. Iowa State is another school recruiting him, too. But now with the offer from K-State, the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine lists the Wildcats as the clear-cut team to beat with a 75% chance of him ending up in Manhattan.

Wesley Fair part of deep 2023 Kansas class

Wesley Fair is just one of the top names in what is shaping up as a memorable class in the Sunflower State.

Lawrence Free State offensive tackle Calvin Clements, Wichita Heights running back John Randle Jr., Maize quarterback Avery Johnson and Eudora tight end Jaden Hamm are all ranked as four-star prospects.

However, Derby running back Dylan Edwards, Topeka Hayden lineman Joe Otting, Wichita Kapaun Mt. Carmel tight end Will Anciaux and others are very much on the national recruiting radar.

And don’t be surprised if Fair adds his name to the list of players that will be recruited at a high level. That’s especially true after coaches get a chance to see his athleticism on film.
