2024 OT Gus Hawkins commits to Kansas State

Shawnee (Kan.) offensive tackle Gus Hawkins announced his commitment to Kansas State on Monday night. He took two unofficial visits to the Wildcats this season.
Hawkins is not ranked in the 2024 On3 Consensus or the 2024 On300. He is 6-foot-7 and weighs 240 pounds.
Kansas State received visits from Hawkins on Nov. 5 and Oct. 1. He is the first member of Kansas State’s 2024 recruiting class.

Meanwhile, the Wildcats’ 2023 class is No. 45 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 8 in the Big 12. The group is led by Maize (Kan.) four-star quarterback Avery Johnson, the No. 96 overall prospect in the 2023 On3 Consensus.
Kansas State also has commitments from 20 three-stars. Four of them are ranked in the top-700 of the On3 Consensus, including Davenport (Fla.) Ridge Community running back Joe Jackson and Overland Park (Kan.) Blue Valley three-star wide receiver Andre Davis.
