Kansas City area EDGE Jordan Allen adds in-state offer

It’s official. Jordan Allen’s stock is red-hot.
After landing offers from Iowa State, New Mexico State and South Dakota last week, the 6-foot-4, 240-pound EDGE from Olathe (Kan.) South announced he landed an in-state offer on Monday.
Allen said he had picked up an offer from the Kansas State Wildcats. The offer was made by Wildcat assistants Taylor Braet, Hank Jacobs and Buddy Wyatt, Allen said. The offer was anticipated largely because the Wildcats have been closely monitoring Allen’s progress throughout the offseason.
Jordan Allen is also getting interest from Nebraska, Missouri and Kansas. He made fall game visits to K-State, Iowa State and Nebraska. After Iowa State offered last week, the Cyclones were in the lead to land Allen, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. However, the offer bolsters K-State’s chances. The Wildcats and the Cyclones both now have a 33% chance of landing Jordan Allen, according to the On3 RPM.
The Iowa State offer last week came from Cyclones assistant Nathan Scheelhaase. Scheelhaase is a Kansas City native and a former four-star quarterback recruit at Rockhurst High School.
