East St. Louis (Ill.) High three-star recruit Macaleab Rich tells On3 he has committed to Kansas State.

Rich, a 6-foot-7, 225-pound small forward, ultimately chose the Wildcats over Ole Miss, Missouri, and UIC.

The powerful wing is Kansas State’s third commitment to the class. He joins four-star PG Dai Dai Ames (No. 63) and four-star SG RJ Jones (No. 80).

Rich ranks as the No. 173 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, the average ranking from all four major recruiting media companies. Jamie Shaw, On3’s National Recruiting Analyst, says you can expect to see Rich’s name in the top-150 in the next rankings update.
