Kansas State lands 3-star athlete Wesley Fair
Wichita (Kan.) Wichita Collegiate School three-star athlete Wesley Fair has committed to Kansas State, announcing the news Wednesday on social media.
He is the second local commit of the week after Wichita (Kan.) Kapaun Mt Carmel Catholic tight end Will Anciaux committed Sunday.
“I want to thank God for the opportunity He has given me,” Fair tweeted. “I want to thank my family, friends, & all the coaches who recruited me. You have given me support & made this process enjoyable. With that being said, I will be committing to Kansas State University.”
Kansas City (Kan.) Piper three-star interior offensive lineman Camden Beebe is the other commit in the Kansas-State recruiting class, which ranks 40th in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking.
Fair is a top-10 prospect from the Sunflower State and the No, 858 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Kansas State has now landed two top-10 prospects from Kansas, and these last few days could be the start of a run for the Wildcats coaching staff,
The Wildcats were the favorites for Fair, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. Heading into Wednesday, Kansas State had a 54.5% chance to land the three-star athlete.
RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.
It factors in machine learning, expert predictions, social sentiment, visits, and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.
