Kansas State has extended an offer to La Grange (Texas) four-star cornerback Bravion Rogers.

The Wildcats are his 17th offer. The current project leader for Rogers, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, is in-state Texas at 45.7%.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, expert predictions, social sentiment, visits, and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Kansas City (Kan.) Piper interior offensive lineman Camden Beebe is the only other commit in the 2023 cycle for Kansas State.

Bravion Rogers is a fast-rising prospect

Bravion Rogers is currently the No. 42 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

But it has been a fast rise for the cornerback over the last few months. When the On300 was released last fall, it was the first time Rogers appeared on a ranking.

Even crazier was that all three other recruiting services had him as an unranked prospect at the time.

“We gave Rogers strong consideration for On3’s initial Top 100 for the 2023 cycle and he just missed the cut,” On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power wrote. “The 5-foot-11, 180-pounder is a playmaker on both sides of the ball at La Grange (Texas) High, but projects as a defensive back long-term. He’s having a strong fall, rushing for 675 yards and eight touchdowns at 9.1 yard per carry, while turning six receptions into 222 yards and four touchdowns. He’s also playing defense and has an interception. Rogers is highly athletic with at 10.63 second mark in the 100 meters and a 6’4″ best in the high jump.”
