Kansas State offers 3-star 2022 quarterback Adryan Lara
Just days ahead of his scheduled official visit to Fresno State, Goodyear (Ariz.) Desert Edge quarterback Adryan Lara has earned an offer from Kansas State, he announced Wednesday evening.
Lara is the No. 717 prospect in the 2022 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 42 quarterback and the No. 9 prospect in Arizona.
“After an amazing conversation with Coach Klieman and Coach Klein, I am honored and blessed to say I have received an offer to further my education and play football for Kansas State University!!! Glory to God!” Lara wrote on Twitter.
The 6-foot-1, 215-pounder was committed to Washington State from September 2020 until last month, when the Cougars underwent a coaching change. He chose them over offers from Iowa State, Kansas and Oregon State.

Both Fresno State and Kansas State have jumped into the mix since then. And he is expected to take official visits to each over the next two weekends.
The Wildcats added former Nebraska quarterback Adrian Martinez through the transfer portal this offseason. But they do not have a high school quarterback signed in the 2022 recruiting class.
Kansas State’s class ranks No. 65 nationally and No. 9 in the Big 12, according to the On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings.
