Kansas State WR RJ Garcia II enters NCAA Transfer Portal

Kansas State Wildcats wide receiver RJ Garcia II has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal.

RJ Garcia II has spent the last three seasons with the Wildcats. Over his time with the program, the wide receiver has amassed 22 receptions, 260 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns.

Moreover, RJ Garcia II played high school football at Berkeley Prep (FL), where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 1045 overall recruit in the 2021 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Wherever the now-former Kansas State wide receiver ends up, he’ll be hoping to pad his statistics a little bit more than he did with the Wildcats.

As a recruit, Garcia II received interest from a number of Power Five programs, including the Rutgers Scarlet Knights and the Iowa State Cyclones. It remains to be seen if those programs are interested in revisiting their recruiting of the wide receiver. Time will tell if other schools have interest, as well.
