More on the Kentucky Wildcats, NCAA Transfer Portal

Moreover, Josh Braun joins former USC EDGE rusher Sam Greene, as he also committed to Kentucky out of the NCAA transfer portal, he told On3’s Hayes Fawcett. Greene has three years of eligibility to play for Mark Stoops and the Wildcats.

Greene appeared in all 12 games this season for USC after taking a redshirt in 2023 as a freshman. He totaled 15 tackles, including three tackles for loss and a sack. Greene turned in one of his biggest games against Rutgers. That night, he had three tackles, two for loss, and a sack to lead USC to the victory.

Sam Greene played high school football at Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances Academy, where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 468 overall player from the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
