Elite 2025 SG Joson Sanon in attendance for Kentucky game
Joson Sanon, the No. 11 ranked prospect in the 2025 On3 Industry Ranking, will be in attendance for Kentucky’s game against Vanderbilt on Wednesday night, according to sources.
The Wildcats were included in the 6-foot-5 shooting guards’s top 10 list that was announced last month. Joining Kentucky in the group of finalists are Arizona, Boston College, Connecticut, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Louisville, Overtime Elite, and Providence.
Up to this point, the Vermont Academy four-star has previously taken official visits to Indiana, Oklahoma State, and Arizona. He’s unofficially visited Providence, UConn, and Boston College.
“I’m scoring a lot better on the ball now,” Sanon recently told On3’s Jamie Shaw. “I’ve heard some people say that I can only score off the ball, so now I am starting to bring out my mid-post game and scoring with the ball in the game. I’m watching a lot of Demar DeRozan and how he likes to get to his middie, and keep attacking.”

What Sanon’s looking for in a school
“The environment around the school will be big for me,” Sanon told Shaw. “I am going to look closely at their play style. I like to play fast, use ball screens, and move the ball. And I like how we play here at Vermont Academy.”
Scouting Report
“Joson Sanon has a basketball player’s frame, with long arms and wide-set shoulders. His pace is excellent, Sanon is never rushed with the ball. At 6-5, he has a pure jump shot with range beyond the arc. He is comfortable shooting off the bounce or the catch, keeping his mechanics consistent throughout. Sanon is a good athlete with explosion and burst. He has the upside to be a good defender, both on and off the ball. Sanon has a solid handle, comfortable getting to the midrange off one and two dribbles. Sanon is tracking among the top in his class.” – On3’s Jamie Shaw
