Prior to this season, Moten held one offer from FCS program Western Carolina. In early October, he received a visit from Iowa State coach Matt Campbell, who gave Moten his first FBS offer. East Carolina, Maryland and West Virginia quickly followed. Offers from USF, Memphis, Indiana, Illinois, Syracuse, Oregon and now Kentucky have come since October 27.
He’s yet to take any official visits, but Moten did make the short trip to see Miami play this past weekend. And he’ll be in Gainesville this week for Florida‘s game against Samford.
Through seven games this season, Ahmad Moten has put together an impressive stat line from the defensive tackle position. He’s totaled 26 tackles, including four tackles for loss, as well as three sacks and a forced fumble.
