WATCH: John Calipari's hilarious reaction to Antonio Reeves' three-pointer
It took a moment, but Kentucky basketball found its footing on the road against No. 7 Alabama. After the Tide mounted a 13-4 run to start the game, Kentucky guard Antonio Reeves nailed a catch-and-shoot three-pointer to help the ‘Cats gain momentum.
The trey was Kentucky’s first of the game and head coach John Calipari’s reaction embodied all of Big Blue Nation after the slow start.

Kentucky’s first-half comeback was mounted by the members of the Wildcats’ bench. Star players Oscar Tshiebwe and Cason Wallace found themselves in foul trouble – and Tshiebwe’s matchup against Alabama’s Charles Bediako caused him problems.

They’ve also thrown some new wrinkles into the mix, like a black jersey they wore for a home game earlier in the year in addition to some throwback white jerseys from the 1993 season that they wore in their last two home games.
Well, that trend is continuing as Kentucky hits the road. The ’93 throwbacks got such a great reception from the fans that they’re going to keep wearing them, at least against Alabama. So take a look at the new blue edition of Kentucky’s ’93 jerseys that the ‘Cats will don Saturday:
Pretty slick threads, and a wonderful way to honor a 1993 team that included Wildcat legends Jamal Mashburn and Travis Ford, among a number of others. Kentucky will look to repeat that same magic from the ’93 season and use it to push past adversity this year.
