Kentucky football received some awesome news on Saturday afternoon when tight end Jordan Dingle announced he would return to the Wildcats after previously entering the transfer portal. As of now, Dingle still is in the transfer portal but plans to withdraw.

Here was Dingle’s tweet with the news that he is coming back to Lexington for next season after all:

“After a lot of prayer and talks with my family and the UK coaching staff, I know the best place for me to continue developing my game is right here at Kentucky. To my brothers, let’s work! I’m excited about the future of UK Football! Let’s go! #BBN

Dingle has been a key player for the Wildcats since he became part of the rotation as a true freshman in 2022. Last season, he put up slightly over 200 receiving yards and then put up slightly under that mark, 198, this fall. In addition to threatening as a pass catcher, Dingle gets rave reviews in the blocking game, where Kentucky tight ends have thrived for years.
