Kentucky had been on a roll coming into Tuesday night’s road game at No. 16 Tennessee, but the Volunteers found a way to knock off the Wildcats and handed them their first loss in six games. While Kentucky was ranked No. 4 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll coming into the matchup and the defeat dropped them a couple of spots, the Wildcats bounced back with a win over Alabama on Saturday.

Following their win over Alabama, the Wildcats – now ranked No. 6 in the AP Top 25 – return to action Wednesday against LSU at Rupp Arena in Lexington, with tipoff scheduled for 9 p.m. ET on ESPN. According to ESPN’s Basketball Power Index, Kentucky has a 80.6% chance to win, while analytical network KenPom.com predicts the Wildcats to record a victory – giving them a 80% chance to win by a score of 75-66.

In terms of KenPom, Kentucky’s final four regular season games have been predicted – and the numbers are in favor of the Wildcats. Here’s a look at how KenPom sees John Calipari’s club matching up in their next four outings, beginning Wednesday vs. LSU.

KenPom’s predictions for Kentucky’s next four games

1.) vs. LSU, Wednesday, Feb. 23: The Wildcats are predicted to win 75-66, with a 80% chance.

2.) at Arkansas, Saturday, Feb. 26: The Wildcats are predicted to win 75-72, with a 62% chance.

3.) vs. Ole Miss, Tuesday, March 1: The Wildcats are predicted to win 79-62, with a 94% chance.

4.) at Florida, Saturday, March 5: The Wildcats are predicted to win 74-67, with a 72% chance.

If KenPom’s predictions are correct, Kentucky will have an overall record of 26-5 with a 15-3 mark in SEC play heading into the SEC Tournament.

Kentucky forward Oscar Tshiebwe adds representation for NIL opportunities

Kentucky junior forward Oscar Tshiebwe put out a notice for Wildcat nation on Sunday that he’s “open for business.” The National Player of the Year candidate announced his signing with The Familie agency, which represents athletes, artists, musicians and more. Tshiebwe will undoubtedly have a long list of NIL opportunities as he continues a strong season.

On Saturday, the 6-foot-9 forward posted 21 points on 13 shots, collected 14 rebounds, and dished out three assists in 35 minutes versus Alabama.
