Kentucky lands commitment from coveted 2025 WR Ja'Kayden Ferguson

Houston (Texas) Fort Bend Marshall three-star wide receiver Ja’Kayden Ferguson has been one of of Kentucky’s top targets at receiver in the 2025 class.

The Wildcats brought him to town for an official visit over the weekend. And on Sunday, he officially announced his commitment to Mark Stoops and Co.

He chose the Wildcats over Houston, LSU, Texas Tech and a number of other programs.

The 6-foot-2, 175-pounder is the No. 627 overall prospect in the 2025 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 92 receiver and the No. 96 recruit in the Lone Star State.

On3, however, is much higher on him than the other recruiting services. He sits just outside four-star status, ranking as the No. 51 wideout nationally and No. 57 prospect in Texas.
