Kentucky quarterback Deuce Hogan enters NCAA Transfer Portal

Kentucky backup quarterback Deuce Hogan is in the transfer portal, On3 has learned. He started his career at Iowa before spending the last couple of seasons in Lexington.

Hogan appeared in just four total games through four years as a college player, including just one game where he threw more than one pass attempt. That game actually occurred last season during the Wildcats’ Music City Bowl game against none other than Hogan’s former school, Iowa. Against the Hawkeyes, he completed six of seven passes for just 19 yards.

Prior to attending either Kentucky or Iowa, Hogan played high school football at Grapevine (TX) Faith Christian, where he was a three-star recruit in the 2020 class, per the On3 Industry Rankings. He was also rated the No. 430 overall prospect and the No. 31 quarterback in his cycle.
