Mark Stoops provides injury updates on Tayvion Robinson, Kenneth Horsey
After a tough loss at home to the top-ranked Georgia Bulldogs, Kentucky‘s head coach Mark Stoops addressed the media after the game going over the ins and outs of the matchup. While losing a game to a conference rival is never easy, it’s made even more difficult when you lose key contributors along the way. For the Wildcats, Tayvion Robinson and Kenneth Horsey both left the game with injuries. And Stoops provided an update on both players statuses going forward.
“He is; he was banged up. He was not 100 percent,” said Stoops when asked about Robinson.
The senior from Virginia Beach, VA, found himself on the sideline for much of the game. Against the Bulldogs, Robinson failed to record a single catch. Still, it does not sound like Stoops is too concerned about Robinson’s injury lingering and keeping them out of further games. But what about offensive lineman Kenneth Horsey?
“He was. He had a situation before the game,” said Stoops. “I’ll address it Monday. All the preliminary tests that we got back seemed to be positive. I’ll address it when I get more information. I’m glad the preliminary information seems to be ok.”

Horsey’s injury appears to have worried not only Kentucky fans but the Wildcats head coach as well. However, from the information given by Stoops, the injury is not as bad as feared. Hopefully, the two Kentucky seniors will both be healthy enough to play for senior day to end the season against in-state rival Louisville.
