Nebraska RB Dante Dowdell commits to Kentucky from the NCAA Transfer Portal

This comes after a visit to Lexington was the first in his transfer recruitment from December 19th to December 20th. There was also interest in him or from him with Alabama, Georgia, and Michigan connected while in the portal.
Dowdell will now be at his third school in three collegiate seasons after being a freshman at Oregon before spending his sophomore year this fall at Nebraska. He has appeared in 18 games in total between the two with six for the Ducks and a dozen, including seven starts, for the Cornhuskers.
During those underclassman campaigns, Dowdell has had 160 carries for 704 yards and 13 touchdowns. Most of that came this past year in Lincoln with 143 carries for 614 yards and 12 scores.
