Report: Kentucky in 'advanced discussions' for multi-year series with Indiana
It is being reported by Jon Rothstein that Kentucky and Indiana are in advanced discussions to play a multi-year series of games. This series of games will include both games on campus and at neutral site locations.
This series of games likely won’t start for several years, even once the details of the series are finalized.
Kentucky and Indiana haven’t played in the regular season since the 2011-12 season. So, by the time the series between these two college basketball blue bloods has been renewed, it will have been well more than a decade since these two programs have played one another in the regular season. However, they have met twice in postseason play, splitting those two games.

Mike Woodson, the Indiana head coach, recently hinted at the possibility of renewing the series with Kentucky.
“That can possibly happen in the future,” Woodson said on College Hoops Today. “I just think that Cal (John Calipari) and I and the ADs and the administration — we have to just come to some common ground and see what happens. I know that our fans would love to see it and I’m sure Kentucky fans would love to see it as well.”
This used to be an annual game. Kentucky leads the all-time series 32-25.
