WATCH: Kentucky men's basketball unveils new home uniforms
While college football season might have just gotten going, Kentucky basketball knows it’s always got a place in the hearts and minds of college hoops fans, no matter the season. And the Wildcats gave us all a little something to hold us over until hoops season arrives when they tweeted a video showing off their new uniforms for 2022.
In the video, featuring star center Oscar Tshiebwe, gives some glimpses of new home white uniforms with slightly glossy blue trim, classic block letters and numbers and, of course, the “UK” logo emblazoned on the shorts. Plus, there’s a little touch of gold on the jersey that’s shown in the video – check it out yourself.

It appears to be a slightly simpler design that Kentucky basketball uniform of years past, especially on the shorts. Gone are the blue-and-white checkerboard design that graced the sides of previous jerseys and shorts for the Kentucky basketball team. Replacing them are a simple, almost retro blue-and-white vertical striping.
The jerseys look sharp in the video, and as the tweet noted, the Wildcats will be entering the stage soon — Tshiebwe very much included.
