WATCH: Wan'Dale Robinson proves speed with dazzling 40 yard dash performance

Here’s to you, Mr. Robinson. Former Kentucky wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson showed off his acceleration with an impressive 4.38u on his first 40 yard dash attempt.
Wednesday afternoon, Robinson addressed how he sees his abilities out in the open field. Spoiler alert, he said no one can touch him.
“I feel like whenever it’s one-on-one, I don’t think anybody can tackle me,” Robinson said. “Like I said, I think I turn into a running back with the ball in my hands. I’m gonna fight for extra yards and just try to break as many tackles that I can to get to the end zone.”
As a receiver, his most natural position, Robinson became the first Wildcat receiver to ever finish a season with 100 catches (104) and broke the record for most receiving yards in a single season in Kentucky history as well (1,334). He averaged 12.8 yards per reception and scored seven total touchdowns in 2021. 45 percent of Will Levis’ completed passes were caught by Robinson as well — to say UK relied on the play of the Frankfort, KY native is an understatement.
“I think he’s gonna have really good success in the league because it’s built for his game now — get the ball in his hands, and let me beat you one on one in space — and he’s proven that at a high level playing in the SEC this past year,” NFL Draft expert Todd McShay said.

How the Kentucky Offense Prepared Wan’Dale Robinson for the NFL
Wan’Dale Robinson looked different. The outstanding athlete brought his fast feet and signature smile to Indianapolis for the 2022 NFL Scouting Combine. He left his long hair behind in Lexington.
“I just wanted to cut it, honestly,” he told KSR. “No specific reason, I just wanted to cut it.”
It’s one of the many changes Wan’Dale made over the last 15 months to get one step closer to making his dream a reality. Thanks to a timely move from Nebraska back to Kentucky, he’s poised to hear his name called on the second day of the 2022 NFL Draft. Tomorrow the former Kentucky Mr. Football will get a chance to improve his resume by running combine drills on the field at Lucas Oil Stadium.
“This has been a dream ever since I was 5,” he said. “Ask my Dad what I went to bed watching when I was five-years-old, and that was the NFL Network. This is the biggest thing that I could ever ask for. When I had the opportunity to leave I couldn’t really pass it up.”
