Will Levis picks his all-time starting five for Kentucky basketball
In his two seasons at Kentucky, Will Levis learned a thing or two, including the history of Kentucky men’s basketball. In an interview with CBS, the Tennessee Titans’ quarterback revealed his all-time starting five at Kentucky.
Point guard: John Wall
Shooting guard: Devin Booker
Small forward: Tayshaun Prince
Power forward: Julius Randle
Center: Anthony Davis
Although Levis’ list undeniably favors Kentucky’s modern history, the Big Blue Nation will still be happy to see their former quarterback showing love to the great UK athletes who came before him. Of course, Levis had some great moments himself while wearing blue and white.
Levis finished his career at Kentucky with a 17-7 record as a starter, tying Terry Wilson for the second-most quarterback wins since 1993. In his short time with the program, Levis tallied 43 career touchdowns passes, the fifth-most in program history.
Additionally, Levis amassed 5,233 passing yards and notched six 300-yard passing games. Only three other Kentucky players have recorded more in their collegiate careers. For his efforts, Levis was selected by the Tennessee Titans with the No. 33 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Will Levis ready to take leap at the next level
Levis began the 2023 campaign as the Titans’ third-string quarterback. However, after Ryan Tannehill went down with an injury, Levis made his first career start in Week 8. He erupted for 238 passing yards and four touchdowns in a 28–23 win over the Atlanta Falcons.
In turn, Levis started the final nine games of the season for the Titans, leading the team to a 3-6 record. He finished his debut season with 1,808 passing yards, 8 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. Now, Will Levis hopes to lead the Titans to new heights in his first full season as the franchise’s QB1.
“I definitely feel like I was a little too reckless in my college career and tried to make some throws that I would want to take back,” Levis told CBS Sports. “I changed that mentality a bit in my play last year. Just realizing at the level that I was playing at where I had to be that much more careful with the ball. I was proud of how I was able to protect it a little more than I did in my college years.
“The most fun thing to do is win and that’s all I’m trying to do at the end of the day. I think how I’m trying to win might be different than others, and that’s why it’s entertaining, in certain situations at least. But I’m trying to win, and that’s the way to have the most fun.”
