ULM Warhawks quarterback General Booty has entered the Transfer Portal, On3 has learned.

He ended up playing in seven games for the season, completing 53.7 percent of his passes for 306 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions. He also rushed for 16 yards and had a reception that lost yardage.
In his final game with ULM, General Booty completed his one pass attempt against Auburn for 65 yards and a touchdown. This came in a season that was inconsistent on the whole for ULM, going 5-7 and starting the season 5-1. Still, five wins is the most for the program since 2019.

The Warhawks were also 118th in scoring offense, averaging 21 points per game.
General Booty went to high school at Allen in Texas. There, he was a three-star recruit in the Class of 2021, according to the On3 Industry Ranking. He was the 59th-ranked quarterback and the 866th-ranked player overall in that recruiting class.

This is General Booty’s second time in the Transfer Portal. He previously played for the Oklahoma Sooners and spent time at the JUCO level. He now has one season of eligibility remaining on his college career.
While at Oklahoma, General Booty struggled to earn consistent playing time and primarily served the role of a backup quarterback to Dillon Gabriel. He did appear in two games during his time at Oklahoma, once in 2022 and once in 2023.
The Transfer Portal officially opened on December 9th for the Winter Transfer Portal window.
