Atlanta (Ga.) Douglass four-star safety Jontae Gilbert had already locked in a pair of official visits coming to the weekend. And now he’s got a third on the books.

The On300 safety will visit Louisville May 10-12, he told On3’s Steve Wiltfong, adding to visits already locked in with UCF (May 31-June 2) and South Carolina (June 7-9).

Gilbert is hoping to cut down his list to a top five “real soon,” he told On3’s Chad Simmons last month. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound defensive back already knows that GeorgiaSouth Carolina and UCF will be three of his finalists.

“It is about the relationships I have with the coaches there,” Gilbert told On3. “I feel like I can get developed there.”

There are eight programs, Louisville and those three, that are vying to be Gilbert’s top five schools. He already knows when he wants to announce his college destination and choose from his soon-to-be known finalists.

“Right now, it will be between the summer and Oct. 19,” he said.

Georgia, South Carolina and UCF are high on Gilbert’s list

Gilbert also broke down each of the three aforementioned programs with Simmons:

Georgia: “Coach Donte Williams and coach Travaris Robinson going to Georgia has a great impact on my interest in them. Coach Donte came from USC and he wanted me to go there. T-Rob, he was recruiting me at Alabama… I like the way they play. They play an NFL-like defense. That’s good. I’m trying to be developed well and they have the coaches to do that.”

South Carolina: “I really like my relationships with coach Torrian Gray and coach Shane Beamer. We talk a lot… Coach Gray is really upfront with you. He’s not going to lie to you.”

UCF: “They are really recruiting me hard. They are critiquing my game and they look at my film often. I talk to coach Ted Roof, coach Gus Malzahn and coach Addison Williams.”
