4-star QB Pierce Clarkson announces pledge on billboards in Louisville
Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco four-star junior quarterback Pierce Clarkson has committed to Louisville, according to a report from ESPN’s Pete Thamel.
The 6-foot, 196-pound Clarkson is ranked as the nation’s No. 163 player, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Pierce Clarkson also ranks as the No. 10 quarterback in the country and the 11th-best player in California in the On3 Consensus.
Pierce Clarkson currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $29,000. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
Clarkson ranks No. 196 in the High School Football NIL Rankings, but that could change now that he’s committed. Plus, it’ll likely go up after the way that he made his commitment public.
Thamel reported Clarkson announced his pledge Friday morning to the Cardinals via 13 billboards that his family purchased in the Louisville area to made his intentions public. The billboard read: “Dear Louisville, I’m home. Let’s build something special together. Love Pierce Clarkson.”
