FIU transfer defensive lineman Jordan Guerad decommits from Minnesota, quickly commits to Louisville
The transfer portal can be wild and chaotic at times. On Saturday night, FIU transfer defensive lineman Jordan Guerad was a great example of that. First, he committed to the Minnesota Golden Gophers earlier in the week. Then, he changed his mind and 30 minutes later he pledged to the Louisville Cardinals. The former FIU defensive lineman made the announcements via his Twitter page.
Then, he posted his commitment to the Louisville Cardinals.
He’s racked up 84 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, and five sacks in his college football career thus far. In 2022 for the Panthers, he appeared in 11 games, tallying 34 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, three sacks. In 2021, he tallied 11 tackles, posting a season-high of five stops at FAU.
Guerad played his high school football at Bloomingdale High School (Valrico, Florida), guiding them to a 12-1 record in 2020, after he racked up 44 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, and six sacks. He had a rushing touchdown against Tampa Bay Tech in the 2020 state playoff semifinals, which ended up being the game-winning score with 1.5 seconds remaining.
