Louisville EDGE Demon Clowney re-enters NCAA transfer portal

A recent Louisville addition is in the NCAA transfer portal again. EDGE Demon Clowney is back in after only a few months with the program, according to a report from On3’s Pete Nakos.
Clowney was announced as a Louisville signee by head coach Jeff Brohm back on Dec. 26. But he won’t be sticking with the program for the fall, apparently.
Demon Clowney is now back in the NCAA transfer portal. He has had previous stops at Charlotte (2023-24) and Ole Miss (2020-22).
In two seasons at Charlotte, Clowney played in 22 games and tallied 10.0 tackles for a loss and 4.5 sacks. In his most recent season, in 2024, Clowney put up 26 tackles, 6.0 t ackles for a loss and 2.0 sacks.
The year prior, in 2023, Demon Clowney logged 33 tackles, 4.0 tackles for a loss and 2.5 sacks. He’s a productive player off the edge.
That said, Clowney’s career started off a bit quietly at Ole Miss. In three seasons he played in only eight games, credited with 12 tackles total.

Baylor running back set to transfer
Baylor running back Richard Reese plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, he announced on March 6 evening via X. Reese wound up spending three seasons in Waco and was named the 2022 Big 12 Offensive Freshman of the Year.
“After much prayer and conversation, I’ve decided to enter the transfer portal to find the best place for my future both on and off the field,” Reese wrote. “This journey is far from over, and I’m excited for what’s next.”
Reese played high school football at Bellville (TX), where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 716 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
