Louisville forward Danilo Jovanovich enters NCAA transfer portal
On3 has learned that Louisville forward and former Miami player Danilo Jovanovich has entered the transfer portal following just one season with the Cardinals.
Jovanovich averaged just 1.2 points per game for Louisville with five starts across 20 total appearances during his lone year. His decision comes after a slew of other Cards already entered the portal in the aftermath of Kenny Payne’s firing.
Before starting his career at Miami as a freshman in the 2022-23 season, Jovanovich played high school ball in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at Whitnall high school, the same place which produced Miami Heat star Tyler Herro a few years back. There he was a three-star prospect and On3’s No. 228 overall player in the 2022 class.

Jovanovich the latest Louisville player to leave
Danilo Jovanovich is far from the first player to announce intentions of leaving the program following the Payne tenure as several others have already put their name in the portal.
Freshman center Dennis Evans entered the transfer portal Tuesday, according to On3’s Jamie Shaw. Last season, the Cardinals center averaged 1.6 points and 0.9 rebounds per game. As a recruit, Evans was a four-star recruit out of Hillcrest (CA), where he was the No. 28 overall recruit in the nation, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
