Louisville linebacker Keith Brown plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Brown spent one season with the Cardinals, only making four appearances. In his limited time on the field, Brown recorded one tackle. Before transferring to Louisville, Brown spent two seasons at Oregon.

As a sophomore, Brown played in 12 of Oregon’s 13 games and started in the SDCCU Holiday Bowl to close the season. He collected 21 total tackles (12 solo) while adding his first career sack. The 6-foot-2 LB earned a solid 72.8 run-defense grade from Pro Football Focus.

Brown played in seven games for the Ducks as a true freshman, making two starts. He finished his debut campaign with 15 total tackles, including six solo stops. He made his first career start at No. 3 Ohio State and recorded two solo tackles in Oregon’s historic upset win at Ohio Stadium.

Brown announced his decision to enter the portal with a heartfelt message to social media.

“Appreciate the Louisville staff and all of my teammates for a short chapter in my life I won’t ever forget! with that being said I will be entering the transfer portal with 2 Years of eligibility left,” Brown wrote.

Brown played high school football at Lebanon (OR) High School, where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 128 overall recruit in the 2021 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Rankings, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
