Louisville offers 2024 4-star EDGE Kolaj Cobbins

Destrehan (La.) four-star EDGE Kolaj Cobbins received an offer from Louisville on Thursday. He announced the news on social media.

Cobbins is the No. 160 overall prospect and No. 14 EDGE in the 2024 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 4 player in Louisiana.

The 6-foot-2.5, 200 pound prospect has 17 offers. He was in New Orleans last weekend for Florida State‘s 24-23 win over LSU.

“I was there and it was really lit,” Cobbins told On3’s Sam Spiegelman. “I have offers from both of those teams, so the energy from the fans was great because they were going at it all night. I was looking at both teams’ D-lines and I liked how Florida State ran a lot of twists and stunts.”

Regarding the Cardinals, Louisville’s 2024 recruiting class contains one commitment. The prospect is Homestead (Fla.) four-star running back Isaac Brown, the No. 168 overall prospect in the On3 Consensus.

Cobbins has an On3 NIL Valuation of $5.9K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
