Louisville has extended an offer to Folsom (Calif.) four-star wide receiver Rico Flores.
The On3 Consensus – a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies – has Flores as the No. 158 overall player in the 2023 cycle. He is also the No. 26 wide receiver and No. 10 player from the state of California.
On3 ranks him even higher. Flores slots in just outside the top 100 of the 2023 On300 ranking at No. 101, which makes him the 16th-best wide receiver in the cycle and seventh-best prospect from the Golden State.
Only Los Alamitos (Calif.) Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Malachi Nelson, Downey (Calif.) Warren five-star quarterback Nico Iamaleava, Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco defensive lineman Matayo Uiagalelei, Pittsburg (Calif.) four-star quarterback Jaden Rashada, San Jose (Calif.) Valley Christian four-star Jurrion Dickey and Los Alamitos (Calif.) four-star wide receiver Makai Lemon rank ahead of him from California in the On300.

Rico Flores announced his top schools a few weeks ago
Rico Flores announced a top 10 of Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, Pittsburgh, Texas, UCLA, and USC two weeks ago.
“All 10 schools have something that has put them in play for me,” Flores told On3. “I am communicating with coaches from each school, I can see myself at each program, and these 10 schools are strong.”
Despite narrowing his list, Flores said he was still open to other schools.
“I am still keeping my recruiting open, and if a new school catches my attention, things can change,” Flores said. “I am now just going to work towards getting my list down to five.”
