Louisville RB Keyjuan Brown plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal.

On3’s Pete Nakos reported Brown’s intentions to put his name in the portal on Thursday. That comes per his representation at YM APAA Sports.

“Louisville running back Keyjuan Brown plans to enter the transfer portal, his agents @noah_reisenfeld and @AeneasHawkins tell @On3sports,” Nakos tweeted.

Brown spent a pair of seasons with the Cardinals with him using his redshirt. That gives him three seasons of eligibility left for wherever he may commit upon his official entry in the portal.

However, with Brown and Watson as their leading rushers already as true freshmen, that could have led to Brown’s decision to look for opportunities elsewhere. That may have applied to Chaney too as he also will reportedly be entering the portal.

Brown, an Atlanta native, played high school football at South Atlanta. He was the No. 609 overall recruit there as a three-star prospect in the 2023 cycle. That’s according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also rated as a Top-50 RB in the class and a Top-75 player out of the state of Georgia.

Brown was one of many backs utilized this season by the Cards. Now, he is the latest member of the team to make it known that he’ll be transferring elsewhere for his next year.
