Louisville visit leaves impression on 4-star CB Ben Hanks

Don’t sleep on Louisville in the recruitment of Miami (Fla.) Booker T. Washington On300 cornerback Ben Hanks.
The blue-chipper was on campus at the end of March and has a great relationship Cardinals director of recruiting John Herron.
“It was great,” Hanks said of his experience. “The football campus is amazing. Coaches are great and the practice was good.”
Cornerbacks coach Steve Ellis is also heavily involved in courting the 6-foot-1, 165-pound Hanks, who will be back for his official visit the first weekend of June.

“Coach Steve and Coach Hova (Herron) just the energy of the coaches,” he said of what attracts him.
“(They’re) in a good spot (for me) and I’ll definitely be back.”
Florida, Georgia and Miami are a few of the other programs Hanks has a keen eye on. Herron and Hanks’ father attended Florida together and they’ve known each other for 30 years.
The On3 Industry Rankings tabs Hanks as the nation’s No. 22 cornerback and No. 170 prospect overall. Through three seasons he has eight career interceptions and four fumble recoveries.
