According to On3’s Pete Nakos, Nebraska wide receiver transfer Isaiah Neyor has signed with Louisville. Neyor was one of the top pass catchers available as he makes a fourth stop during his college career. A nice get for the Cardinals heading into the 2025 season.

Neyor originally declared for the 2025 NFL Draft but three days later, entered the NCAA transfer portal. Despite already being in college football for six seasons, there is another year of eligibility remaining for the wide receiver.

“To my family, your love and support have been my anchor and I am beyond grateful,” Neyor wrote in his NFL Draft announcement. “Most importantly I thank God for giving me the strength, guidance, and favor to walk this path. With that being said, I am proud to declare for the 2025 NFL Draft.”

Neyor played in 12 games this season with Nebraska, going for 455 yards and five touchdowns on 34 receptions. Not quite the numbers he put up during his best season with Wyoming but enough to bring interest to multiple power conference programs this portal go-round.

The career began in Laramie with Wyoming before heading back to his home state. Steve Sarkisian and the Texas Longhorns took him on ahead of the 2022 season but a torn ACL saw him not step on the field. Just one more season with spent on the 40 Acres before entering the portal once again and joining Nebraska.

Neyor played high school football at Arlington (TX) Lamar, where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 2,740 overall recruit in the 2019 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Louisville will begin its 2025 season on Aug. 30, having an in-state showdown against Eastern Kentucky. A new quarterback will be in town to throw to Neyor, also taking USC‘s Miller Moss through the portal this offseason.

Hopefully for those with the Cardinals, a new nice duo is being formed ahead of a crucial year for head coach Jeff Brohm.
