Radcliff (Ky.) North Hardin three-star wide receiver Shaun Boykins announced that he has committed to the Louisville Cardinals.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder is the No. 925 overall prospect and No. 129 wide receiver in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 5 player in Kentucky.

Boykins decision comes five days after he was last on campus for the Cardinals spring game. He had taken four visits prior to that including another spring visit on March 21.

With Boykins’ commitment, Jeff Brohm’s first class at Louisville has six total commitments. The class as a whole ranks No. 28 nationally and No. 5 in the ACC.

Miami (Fla.) Columbus four-star linebacker TJ Capers is the highest-ranked player in the class sitting at No. 41 in the country.

The rest of the Cardinals’ class includes Homestead (Fla.) four-star running back Isaac Brown, New Braunfels (Texas) Canyon three-star quarterback Deuce Adams, Noblesville (Ind.) three-star offensive tackle Ransom McDermott and Plantation (Fla.) American Hermitage offensive tackle Jimmy Williams.

Adams, Boykins, McDermott and Williams all committed to the Cardinals this month.

Louisville finished the 2023 recruiting cycle with 15 signees. That class was ranked the No. 27 class in the country and finished No. 4 in the ACC.

Shaun Boykins currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $24K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
