Skyy Clark sends goodbye message to Louisville
Skyy Clark made the fourth commitment of his college career on Wednesday with his choice to transfer to UCLA. While he’s now headed out to Hollywood, though, he took a moment to appreciate his former program in Louisville.
Clark shared his farewell to the city and to the Cardinals on Twitter last night. He did so a little over an hour after his portal announcement that he’d be joining the Bruins. In his message, he shared his overall love for Louisville after spending the past year there with them.
“This goes out to #CardNation I will forever cherish and love my time playing for the red and black,” Clark wrote. “To the entire city of Louisville I LOVE YOU!!!”
Clark has an association with some major names at the collegiate level over the past two years. Of the four, he has connections with Kentucky, Illinois, Louisville, and, now, UCLA.
He originally committed to the Wildcats out of high school but asked and got his release from his letter intent. That led to him joining the Fighting Illini a month later. However, he left Illinois midseason and then entered the portal for the first time. After his first transfer last spring is when he landed at Louisville. That’s where he has been until the firing of Kenny Payne led him back to the portal and to Hollywood.
