WATCH: Frisbee-catching dog defecates on Louisville's court at halftime

If the 2022-23 Louisville men’s basketball season needed a metaphor, it got one at halftime of senior night on Tuesday. And for a season that’s been in the toilet for a while now, it was a fitting analogy.
For halftime entertainment, Louisville had a classic, lovable show: A frisbee-catching dog. But it all went wrong when, as the canine was heading back to its handler, felt the call of nature.
Hopefully the event staff who inevitably had to clean dog turds off the hardwood get a bonus.
With just four wins on the season, and another unlikely to come between now and the end of the ACC tournament, this might sadly be the lasting image of a Louisville season many will want to forget.
SMU vs Navy in football was delayed after horse defecated on field
The Navy and SMU game on Friday night was not expected to be one of the more entertaining games of the weekend. But rest assured, the SMU mascot had other plans. The Mustangs’ pony decided to bring some fun to the party and spice things up a bit. In one of the more hilarious things a mascot has ever done — SMU’s official mascot, “Peruna” decided to defecate all over the field while it was running across it.

That’s flat out hilarious. The game was delayed by over 15 minutes due to the horse answering the nature call on the field. Props to the hard-working staffers at SMU to make sure the game proceeded, and the field was cleaned up. Because let’s be honest, nobody wants to do that job. Credit to them for cleaning it up before the players got tackled in the stuff.
SMU won Friday night’s game 40-34, after Navy scored a touchdown late in the fourth quarter. The Mustangs improved to 3-3 overall on the season.
