2024 Pensacola (Fla.) Pine Forest four-star offensive tackle Jonathan Daniels earned an offer from LSU on Wednesday. He announced the news over social media.

Daniels is the No. 208 overall prospect and No. 14 offensive tackle in the 2024 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also rated the No. 37 player in Florida.

On3 ranks him even higher as the No. 44 overall prospect and No. 3 offensive tackle in the 2024 On300. Daniels is also rated the No. 9 player in Florida by On3.

The 6-foot-5, 285 pound offensive lineman has received offers from programs including LSU, Florida State and Georgia. He has taken unofficial visits to the Bulldogs, Florida and USF.

LSU’s 2024 recruiting class currently contains four prospects. They include Bellaire (Texas) Shadow Creek four-star safety Maurice Williams, Chillicothe (Ohio) four-star tight end Tayvion Galloway, Loganville (Ga.) Grayson four-star athlete Joseph Stone and Jonesboro (La.) Jonesboro-Hodge three-star linebacker Xavier Atkins. The On3 Consensus lists Galloway, Stone and Williams as top-200 prospects.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Daniels has an On3 NIL Valuation of $8.7K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
