2024 Four-Star CB Zion Ferguson commits to LSU
Four-star cornerback Zion Ferguson of Loganville (GA) Grayson High announced his commitment to LSU Sunday afternoon.
The 6-foot, 165 pounder chose the Tigers over UNC, South Carolina, Auburn, Tennessee, Arkansa, and Michigan State.
Ferguson on why he chose LSU
“What really stood out was the family approach,” Ferguson said. “My family is everything and they welcomed me like I was a part of their family! Coach Steeples is a teacher at heart and I know that I will really be able to learn and grow my game with him. I believe in Coach Kelly’s vision for the team and the vision the staff has for me. Besides the fact that I have always wanted to be a tiger from childhood, the staff at LSU made a huge impact on me and my family!”
LSU DBU Tradition stood out to Zion Ferguson
“LSU has been known as DBU for years,” Ferguson said. “If you’re a top DB in the country it’s a must that you take a serious look at LSU. My favorite NFL player has always been Tyrann Matthieu. I love the way that he’s still tied into the program and also gives back. I’m on a quest to become another great LSU DB that will be able to leave my legacy at the school for years to come.”
