In college basketball, you truly never know what’s going to happen. That’s part of the beauty of the sport. The LSU Tigers’ women’s basketball team gave fans one of the weirdest plays of the 2022-2023 college basketball season tonight. On Thursday night, LSU women’s basketball star Angel Reese made sure that Arkansas’ Samara Spencer would remember her name. Reese lost her shoe in the middle of a play when Spencer was driving down the lane. Reese was trying to put her shoe on as Spencer was driving down the lane for a layup, but the LSU star then changed her mind. She held the shoe in one hand, and then swatted the basketball away from Spencer with authority with the other hand, sending her crashing to the hardwood handed.

Reese made sure to give Spencer a stare down to remember once she was on the ground to let her know what just happened.

Check it out below.

Reese had a monster performance on Thursday night for the Tigers. She stuffed the stat sheet with 30 points, 19 rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one block (above). LSU ended up defeating Arkansas in a close one, 79-76. This season for LSU, the star small forward is averaging 23.9 points, 15.4 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game.
