If you didn’t know before, March has taught you the valuable lesson that Angel Reese is an absolute baller.
The star of the LSU women’s basketball team has been on another level throughout their NCAA Tournament, which will now continue on to the Final Four after the Tigers defeated the Miami Hurricanes in the Elite Eight on Sunday. After the victory, the SEC Network pointed out on Twitter the ridiculous numbers Reese has amassed, putting everything in perspective.
“.@Reese10Angel MAKING A STATEMENT IN MARCH (exclamation point emoji),” tweeted SEC Network. “89 PTS. 69 REB. 14 BLK. 10 STL. 3rd player since 2000 with 80 Pts, 60 Reb, 10 Blk & 10 Stl in NCAA Tournament (mind blown emoji).”
Moreover, Reese turned in another big performance in the win over the Hurricanes, finishing with 13 points, a team-high 18 rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks. She fouled out with 58 seconds left and the game already in hand as LSU led 51-36.
Following the 54-42 victory that sent the Tigers to their first Final Four in over a decade, Reese delivered an emphatic postgame message while staring right into the camera.

“What they gonna say now?!” she shouted. “What they gonna say now?!”
Moreover, Reese’s double-double was her 32nd in 34 games this season, breaking the SEC single-season record. That only added to what was already a special year for the sophomore, as she was also named a first team All-American and first team All-SEC. Now she’ll head to Dallas with her sights set on a national title.
The Tigers slowly built their lead with each quarter and led 38-27 heading into the fourth quarter. Neither team shot the ball well as both were under 32% for the game. They also combined to make just one 3-pointer in 27 tries.
Thanks to Angel Reese, LSU dominated the glass to win the rebounding battle 49-36. The Tigers also played lock down defense to hold Miami to its second-lowest point total this season and force 18 turnovers. Jasmyne Roberts scored more than half of the Hurricanes’ team total with 22 points as no other Miami player had more than four.
Angel Reese and the Tigers will continue celebrating while they await the winner between Virginia Tech and Ohio State in their Final Four matchup on Friday. The Buckeyes and Hokies will face off at 9 p.m. ET on Monday in the Elite Eight.
